THREE children recently died in Los Angeles DCFS custody. A family member called me into the living room to see the report. There was the city council and a bereaved family member telling the council that "our babies, our future is dying".

I just had my heart broken all over again and spent most of the afternoon in tears as I watched several Youtube videos posted by victims of CPS. Heartrending accounts of kangaroo court tactics and literal heartbreaking pictures of children lost to the system. For several long minutes all I could do was sit and quietly cry as I watched.
Another part of me, however was grateful that these shattered parents and children had a medium to TELL their stories, as difficult as it was to watch them.

One of the main reasons I engaged in this seemingly insurmountable
struggle for genuine justice for our courts and/OR a genuine voice for
