stuart showalter Your right to remain silent when questioned by a police officer

If you haven't actually been interviewed by a detective you most likely have seen a police interview portrayed in a movie or television show. Some times the portrayal is very realistic and others times far from reality.

Before continuing I would like for you to take a simple eight question multiple choice survey about the right to remain silent when being questioned by a police officer. Please do not complete the survey after reading this article as it will skew the

stuart showalter Why an attorney should know caselaw and be able to do math

One of the Indiana Custodial Rights Advocates activists, Don Chavis, was recently hailed into court on a "Petition for Contempt" filed by what I have throughout the proceedings referred to as one of Indiana's most incompetent attorneys. Her name is Jennifer A Bonesteel [#27520-49] who I affectionately refer to as "Bone-a-head". She represents the Respondent, Clarra Chavis, in this matter.

I have appeared in Marion County Superior Court IV twice now in anticipation of

stuart showalter Can attorneys be punished for misconduct?

What do you call a cruise ship full of attorneys at the bottom of the sea? . . . A good start! There is a reason for the degrading and lethal jokes about attorneys. For those people who have been involved with them it is not uncommon to have a disagreement or to feel that you have been wronged by an attorney. Most disputes are over billing. The agency responsible for enforcing the rules for attorneys is the Disciplinary Commission of the Indiana Supreme Court.

stuart showalter Why child custody mediation should be the first thing to do

What is mediation?
Mediation is an opportunity for parents to get together in a less adversarial environment than the courtroom battleground. The goals of mediation are to; 1) Help parents make a parenting plan that's in the best interest of the children; 2) Help parents make a parenting plan that lets the children spend time with both parents; and 3) Help the parents settle their past issues and learn ways to deal with anger or resentment. In mediation a mediator

Leap Frog - Leap Steep ..........." Do I have to look for a prince ? Did I think I married my prince ? What words were said by my prince ? More importantly what words were not said ? Did I roam fields and ravines all too long ? Were my feet stuck too long in muddy holes ? Were all the sunrises and sunsets more precious than I ? Would a tight hug and longer kiss be the remedy ?
