Legal age child

What to do when the child is close to being "legal age" at time of filing and doesn't want to be with targeted mom?
Child is now twenty and has nothing to do with me...ex made sure he started the brainwashing a while ago.

I'm dismissed as being "gone and forgotten" according to a note he wrote me recently. He even had our daughter call me the night before court with his $$$ offer for me to dismiss contempt charges recently. Both lawyers just shake their heads...his and mine.

What do I do at th… Continue

Still vindictive after all these years, sounds as if he needs an attitude adjustment. Maybe buy him tickets to an Anger Management play. And I'll bet the attorney's aren't helping matters.

Dont have a pic of the book, but go to Amazon.com, book, "Peter Pan Syndrome," written by Kiley, published in 84; also look into "Wendy's Club," circa 2006, for women entrapped by the peter pan man, and ways to get out of the relationships; also might want to look into the book, "Now or Nevernever land, Peter Pan Myth" 3 great books to request from your local library...

About your vindictive overbearing 2 yr old ex:
It's called "The Peter Pan Syndrome," you should get the book, very 'enlightening!' Try amazon.com or your local library..
I have it in paperback, since it first came out...
read it and weep...there's a way to get thru them, good luck!

Wow, we've got a lot in common. How old is your youngest daughter? My son is 20 and doing the same, he too has written off the my family including his sister and for no reason. It's bizarre to say the least.

We really have to practice tough love in situations like this. It's so hard to believe a 57 year old adult would fall for this type of thinking, insanity is defiantly a good way to put it. Gezzzzz

I'm happy you got the rules... Maybe if you slap some glue on them you'll be able to post them on your "ex's" forehead. Sometimes that helps to get the message across to those who refuse to listen.

Welcome to CNBP forum. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with all the features. There is a discussion board that you may search by topic, a blog where you may post information you would like others to see and a members directory. THANK YOU for taking the time to add your city and state to your profile. Although the issues we face are universal many of the changes will take place locally and that is when we need to be able to contact each other instead of the entire group. If you need any assistance please feel free to contact me. Again, welcome and I hope you find CNBP to be a valuable resource.

Well nice to know there are other parents going thru this....sad as it is.
I'd like to send Rules to my ex...but he'd tear it up and mail it back to me.

I live in Boise, Idaho now. I recently moved here from Corrupt, California. I've been helping people for over 20 years, mainly with CPS cases, and looking to create legislative change. It seems I pretty much always run into a brick wall whenever I look to implement needed change. So now I just sit back and babble in my cave... lol

If you go to my page and look up above your post, you'll see the rules...

Now all you need is some pics and music to dress up your page.
