GOOD, BLACK, SINGLE FATHERS

I had a conversation with someone who is becoming increasingly important to me as the days pass, a little earlier. She was telling me of her dislike of the negative press and info out there about Single Black fathers. Statistics, stories, etc. from black women, social agencies, and the news media, criticizing and vilifying single black fathers as absentee, ineffective, impotent, criminal and more commonly deadbeat, permeate our society.
