One month to introduce our child-friendly legislation
We are now just one month away from the opening day of the second session of the 116th Indiana General Assembly. This year is a short session that will end by 14 March 2010. We must be quick and effective to get our legislation introduced, heard and passed. We are hoping to create better laws for you and the children in Indiana and as a model for those across the nation.
We will be going to the State House that day to meet with and be available to any legislator seeking information on custody issues. We invite you to come along to participate, stand back and watch the process or even meet with your legislator if time permits.
We will updating the website with our progress about once a week until the start of the session. http://www.boonecountyfathers.org/home/latestupdate.html We would like for you to accept a challenge to find one additional person who is interested in making Indiana a more child-friendly state. This need be nothing more than someone who is willing to express an opinion about proposed legislation or simply forward an e-mail to their legislator.
We have made significant progress in the past year on the ICSG and getting more commitments of support from legislators. We will also be participating with the DRC in amending the IPTG in 2010. We can not slow down now though. Please add this link to your signature line, social networking pages, blog or your own website if you have one. www.InCRA.info

Gary-I was just cleaning out old e-mails last weekend and came across some from you and thought that you may have been locked up because I had not heard from you in awhile. Keep beating up on them. Never give up. Cheers
Welcome to CNBP forum. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with all the features. There is a discussion board that you may search by topic, a blog where you may post information you would like others to see and a members directory. THANK YOU for taking the time to add your city and state to your profile. Although the issues we face are universal many of the changes will take place locally and that is when we need to be able to contact each other instead of the entire group. If you need any assistance please feel free to contact me. Again, welcome and I hope you find CNBP to be a valuable resource.

We have three more bills written and are working on two additional ones. We would like to have all of these submitted by the first day of this upcoming session which is 05 January 2010. More information about those bills may be found here. http://bcchildadvocates.blogspot.com/2009/11/indiana-general-assembly-organization.html
