For whatever reason, social conservatives focus considerable political effort on abortion, gay rights, and obscenity, but pay scant attention to divorce. Perhaps they think that ship has sailed for good, whereas other battles still offer winnable stakes. Perhaps t… Continue

CROWN POINT | Lake Circuit Court Judge Lorenzo Arredondo said the increasing number of people representing themselves in court is not just economics.

The availability of legal forms on the Internet, a downtrodden economy and increasing education level of residents have all fueled an increase i… Continue

Hey David, you are doing great work, so don't get wrapped up in the personality conflicts like that one lady that is bashing people everywhere and her "husband" that has been married two or three times to similar dysfunctional people because they are on some personal vendetta in the movement against people that "they" don't like or that don't give them the time of day. They are stuck on the sidelines of the playground while people like you are helping to get the job done. Ignore them and they always go away and keep up the great work. It happens, when people get so angry that rather than do anything useful, they are so enshrouded with hate that they can't accomplish anything. This movement is not about the people but about getting things done to change public policy, so what are they doing bashing people? They are helping the system and are divisive to accomplishing a real change. Too hurt by all the people that abandon their dysfunctional private delusions. They even continually try and attack me, but we all know where are arrows need to fly. Hang in there David.

"When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit."
