I am learning more and more as i'm getting older, relating my life to others and through that it has helped me understand the commitement that my father had in order to still be around. I have friends whose mothers began alienating them from their father and i've seen the results of that. Their fathers didn't stick around to see what would happen, their fathers didn't stick around to continue the fight, and i have my hat of to my father who did. Despite what everyone was saying, including myself he didn't really ever let that deter him and i guess that's why my mindset is the way it is because he has always been there. And I can do nothing but thank him for that. For fighting for his sons even when we weren't fighting for him.
